Sunsafe Supplies “સદભાવના” Printed Shade Nets for Sadbhavna Seva Foundation’s Tree Plantation Initiative

Sunsafe supplies “સદભાવના” printed shade nets for Sadbhavna Seva Foundation’s tree plantation activities in and around Rajkot.

Sunsafe Agrotextiles is supplying specially printed shade nets to Sadbhavna Seva Foundation, Rajkot, for use in its tree plantation activities.

The shade nets carry the distinctive “સદભાવના” identity printed directly onto the knitted net. This gives the material an additional purpose beyond its functional application: it also identifies the organisation behind the plantation initiative.

A Practical Application of Printed Shade Net

Tree plantation projects often involve installations spread across large areas and exposed to outdoor conditions.

For the Sadbhavna project, Sunsafe produces the required shade net and carries out the printing through its in-house roll-to-roll printing facility.

Printing directly onto knitted shade net presents different challenges from printing conventional fabric. Sunsafe has developed its printing process and ink system specifically for this application.

The result allows the “સદભાવના” name to become an integral and visible part of the shade net rather than requiring a separate branding material.

Supporting a Large-Scale Plantation Initiative

Sadbhavna Seva Foundation is based in Rajkot and undertakes tree plantation and environmental activities.

Sunsafe is pleased to see its manufactured and printed shade nets being used in an initiative with a practical environmental purpose.

The project also demonstrates how shade nets can be adapted for organisations, NGOs, CSR initiatives, institutions and other projects that require both functional material and visible identification.

Specialised Manufacturing at Sunsafe

The Sadbhavna supply is a real-world application of one of Sunsafe’s specialised manufacturing capabilities.

Sunsafe has developed an in-house system for printing directly on shade nets up to 2,000 mm (80 inches) wide. Designs, organisation names, logos and messages can be configured according to suitable project requirements.

For readers interested in the technology behind the process, Sunsafe has also published a detailed Technical Knowledge article on its specialised in-house shade-net printing capability.

The Sadbhavna project shows what Sunsafe aims to achieve through value-added manufacturing: developing shade net around the requirements of the application, rather than limiting the application to a standard shade net.
